Microplastic filtration for a bottle you already own
01 The Problem
Microplastics in drinking water have been found in human organs and linked to hormonal disruption and other health effects. Yet existing consumer filters are stationary or demand a dedicated bottle, and none fit the standard plastic bottle nearly everyone already carries.
Filtra closes that gap: a filter that threads into a standard store-bought water bottle and cleans microplastics and pollutants on the go, while preserving the bottle's original cap so nothing is thrown away.

A threaded spout chosen specifically because it does not shed particles into the water, and it reuses the bottle's own cap threading.
An inert, durable shaft that encloses and protects the filter element.

03 Form & System
I designed a straw-format form factor that threads onto standard bottle openings. Because it preserves the original cap and threading, the user keeps their existing water bottle, no proprietary vessel, no waste. The result is a product that reads as an upgrade to something familiar rather than a replacement for it.
I researched microplastic contamination and pollutant behavior in drinking water to drive the material and geometry decisions, then wrapped the product in the EasyHealth consumer brand identity to package it as a coherent story.
